RULES FOR THE TURKEY TIP OFF!

Turkey Tip-Off Tourney Rules

v    Games will be 28 minutes stop-time.  Games will consist of  two 14 minute stop-time halves, with a 5 minute pre-game warm-up and a 5 minute break at the half.  There will be no 30-second clock.

v    Each team is allowed one (1) full timeout and one (1) 30 second timeout per half with no carryover to 2^nd half or overtime.

v    Overtimes will be 2 minutes.  One (1) 30 second timeout per team only is allowed in each overtime period.

v    Free throws for “shooting fouls” will be according to National Federation rules.

v    “Bonus” free throws—“2 shots”—will only be taken after a team’s 10^th and subsequent team foul in a half. There will be no “1-and-1” situations.

v    A player will be disqualified on her 6^th foul of the game.

v    Each team must provide one person at the scorer’s table for all games.  One person will be the scorer and the other will keep the clock.

v    In all other situations National Federation and Massachusetts High School rules will apply.
