Tournament Information

  • Tournament Dates & Location - The Turkey Tip-Off Tournament will be held this year on Friday, November 28th, and Saturday, November 29th. The tournament will be held again at the Webster Center at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

  • Teams Participating & Uniforms - Please understand that teams participating are teams of high school aged girls and by rule are not specific high school teams. All players on a team should have a shirt, scrimmage vest or "top" of a similar color. If possible have a set of pinneys available in case your opponent has the same color top as your team. "Numbers" would be appreciated, but not required.
     
  • Admission Fee -Participants & their coaches have already paid a tournament entrance fee, and therefore will not be charged an admission fee. There is a $2 daily admission fee for other fans. Children 12 & under and Senior Citizens will be admitted free. College Coaches will be admitted free.
     
  • Rosters - of all teams will be available at a minimal charge if submitted by teams.
     
  • College Coaches - There are NCAA rules prohibiting attendance by Division I and II college coaches. An invitation has been sent to over 150 Division III about the tournament. Players on teams should send their own "personal invite" e-mails to D3 coaches to encourage those coaches to attend. Most coaches' e-mail addresses can be found in the "Staff Directory" section of those coaches' college athletic department website.
     
  • Athletic Trainer -will be on duty during all games on both days for any emergencies that come up. That trainer will also be available for "taping" if players bring their own tape & pre-wrap.
     
  • Game Officials - All officials refereeing are high school board certified officials.
     
  • Game Score Keepers and Timers - Each team is responsible for providing one volunteer at the table for each game to serve as the score and clock keepers for that game.
     
  • Concessions - There will be a concession station set up throughout the tournament.
